Current Favourites - October 2017

Hey!

Thought I would share a few of my current favourites that I've been loving lately.

Favourites

Clinique Chubby Stick - Super Strawberry

I received a mini version of this free with a magazine a few years ago which I have just used up, I think it's the first lipstick I've ever user right to the end! This is the only Chubby Stick I've used so I'm not sure if all they are all sheer but this one is a very sheer red and I love it because it is one of those lipsticks you can just put on in the morning and forget about because it is so sheer it wears well throughout the day and you don't end up with it wearing away unevenly.

Urban Decay Vice Sheer Lipstick - Brat

This is second lipstick I'm currently loving, as the name suggests this is also sheer but not as sheer as my Chubby Stick. This is a pale pink and it seems to go with most things, like the Chubby Stick I feel it wears well throughout the day and when I go to put it on I usually find it in my handbag.

Benefit - Cheek Parade

I bought this in April and feel like I've used it almost every day since, I love that it contains two bronzers and three blushers although it would be nice to contain a highlighter too. I don't use the brush as I prefer to use my Real Techniques bushes, this cheek palette contains Hoola and Hoola Lite, I wasn't sure if i would end up using both of these but I find Hoola works well on my cheekbones and then I use Hoola Lite around my hairline. The three blushes included are Galifornia, Dandelion and Rockateur. As Galifornia was a new release it immediately drew my attention and was the blusher I used the most but after about a month I've been mixing them up depending on what I've been wearing and have found I've hardly been reaching for any other bronzer and blush products.

Tarte - Tartelette in Bloom

This eyeshadow palette is the first palette that I have used on a regular basis. First of all I love the smell of it so much! I never thought an eye shadow palette could smell so good! I don't like to wear a lot of eyeshadow so i mainly use the left hand side of the palette and the go to look I usually do is Flower Child all over the lid, Charmer for a highlight and then Smarty Pants in the outer crease. If I'm going out at night sometimes I will put Funny Girl on top of Flower Child to give a bit of shimmer.

Zoella Let's Spritz Body Mist

Zoella Body Mist

I've been using this as a perfume a lot lately and I just love the smell! It lasts a long time but I don't find it too overpowering. It was part of the Zoella Tutti Fruity line and the scent is described as 'delicate notes of Raspberry and Cassis for a burst of berry bliss'

Wilko Powder Brush

Wilko Powder Brush

I bought this a while ago just because it looked awesome, I just saw it in store and it looked so big and fluffy! I used it for a while but then reverted to my Real Techniques Powder brush but i've just recently rediscovered my love for it. I use it to apply powder all over my face and it distributes it evenly, although it is so fluffy it is still quite dense and it works so well.

Looking at the Wilko website they seem to have changed their makeup brush line so I'm not sure how the new one compares, but you can find it here!

NPW Oh K! Cat Lip Balm in Cherry

I received this in the Selfridges Beauty Advent Calendar last year, I'd never heard of the company but I love it non the less. It doesn't give any colour on my lips but it smells nice and is great when I take my dog, Alfie, on a walk and I'm not wearing much make up.

NPW sell all sorts of cute things now just beauty related, check them out here!

I also received this in the Selfridges Beauty Advent Calendar last year in the scent New Wave and again I'd never heard of the company before. It took me a few months to start using it but I love it, mainly for the smell, it smells amazing! I decided to have a look at the company on their website and found that they did different scents and sold them as a set, which me loving anything of the same design I decided to buy. I don't love them all but I definitely like more than I don't. They've just released a set of them with Disney packaging which I probably shouldn't buy as I haven't used up the ones i've currently got, but i'm very tempted and knowing me I probably will.

Merci Handy have recently launched their UK website, as previously you could only buy from France. Check them out here!

So that's everything I'm currently loving!
